Horse Isle 2 Screenshot Fun: Take 2

Hi again,

Mom leaves on vacation for two whole weeks starting this afternoon. We dolls will be stuck here at home as usual. *Sighs.* At least the weather's finally supposed to improve this weekend after some storms come through to cool things off.

We've been spending more time on Horse Isle 2 than usual this week because it is so HOT and HUMID outside. All week, high temps have been in the 90s, while overnight lows have been in the mid 70s. Walk outside into that and it feels like walking into a steam room. Water condenses on our cool vinyl skin within seconds, making us look and feel sweaty and gross. Lily says if we were to step on the pavement or even the driveway in bare feet, there's a good chance our feet would melt! I don't know if she's right or if she's just trying to scare the rest of us into being good little doobies and stay inside. Even I'm not going to go test her theory.

So, here are a few more Horse Isle 2 screenshots for your amusement and mine:

Our first horse retired to Millennium Fields: Pickle the Shetland Pony
This wild APH thought she was so tricky. She had the Pessimist personality.
Sorry, buddy, but you can't take the portal.
Wild hunting expedition with 2 buddies. There were 3 wilds on Islands Lake that day!
Pot o' gold in the forest? We'll take it!
Slightly awkward mine placement. We'll take it too!

How does he do that?
Wild overlap: dark dun Highland and bay Moyle
Headless horse

That's all for now, but I'm sure there will be plenty more to come.

7/11

Happy free Slurpee day! Mom waited in line for about 20 minutes to get hers. She chose the red, which was probably cherry but labeled as raspberry. :) It looked like this, only with a lid and in a green cup instead of purple:

The other options were blue raspberry, sugar free mango lemonade, and Coca-Cola.

In my opinion, Slurpees are better than slushies and snow cones. Slushies and snow cones have bigger chunks of ice, which means you end up sucking up most of the flavoring right away in the liquid and are then left with fairly bland slush.

Slurpees are really good. You know what I think is even better? Glaciers! Around here, they are what we call it when slushies and soft serve vanilla ice cream are combined. I'm partial to the blue raspberry ones, since it looks like water and icebergs. I wonder if anyone's ever put vanilla ice cream in their Slurpee? Hmm, I may have to try that some day.

I want to know why it is that Coca-Cola and cherry are the standard flavors for freezy drinks. Those are both fine, but it seems to me that blue raspberry is generally more popular than either of those.
