Fall Screenshot Fun

Well, after all the build up, Halloween has come and gone! My sisters, cousins, and I had a great time, both in our Disney princess costumes and our new Harry Potter sweaters and scarves. (Not at the same time, ha ha.) The movie we ended up watching: Frankenweenie! We had not seen it before, but my sisters and I quite enjoyed it. It was all I personally had hoped for in a Halloween movie: a good balance of creepy but not too creepy, some humor, and an interesting storyline. It was also amusing that the town's name was "New Holland," due to our proximity to Holland, Michigan. The real-life town is known for its colorful spring tulips and picturesque lakeshore, which couldn't be more different than the setting of this movie. XD

We <3 Sparky

Also, for the record, here are this year's jack-o'-lanterns. Mom and Grandma tag-teamed on the wolf one (well, actually a coyote, according to the pattern). Our aunts carved the others.

No more amazing wild equines showed up on HI3 in the final weeks of October, so it seems we are keeping both Satin and that goofy sandstone grey, Sharky. We have taken quite a few fun screenshots of our still-very-fruitful explorations lately, though, so I will share those with you.

some alpine wilds taking a break from the steep alpine terrain

...and this is why it's not a good idea to wild hunt in the rainforest at night

Not exactly the mount you'd expect for a journey through the savanna, ha ha.
Herschel seemed to enjoy himself, though.

Whoo hoo! We're about to go over our horse limit, yet again...

Shamrock whizzing happily through a vast stone forest

Not sure that one's actually a meteorite...

No, taiga wild! Don't drink that!

Aww!

Only in HI3...

The mushroom and the wild pony were both none the worse for the wear.
The pony proceeded to take Pepsi for a fancy twilit cart ride.

=) Must be a hot day.

I wonder if the horses enjoy following the sparkles as much as we do?

Isn't it satisfying that the stone forest wilds usually do resemble the stones?

Crashing a taiga wild gathering

Maybe it's just us, but we often see faces and such in the mesa rocks.
The one above Pepsi's head... hound dog, right?

Hey, we match!

Another coincidental Hey, we match!
